I'm in my mid 40's and wouldn't have thought of that. Clan of the Cave Bear was a book that my mom's generation read. I'm too young for that!

After watching it you’d definitely know how Ayla should be pronounced. It’s a Turkish/Hebrew name spelled exactly how it should be spelled, as they use English alphabets in turkey too, and it’s pronounced Eye-luh. I know in English some people mispronounce it, but they just need to learn how some names are pronounced in other languages and respect that instead of insisting it should be said the way the prefer to read/say it!
Also you’d say “Aye” (Eye) in Scottish for yes- the Same sound goes for Ayla . Eye-luh.
