Black women age even better. My African wife's mother is well into her 60s and gets mistaken for her 40s. It is truly amazing how dark skin does not age. I look like my wife's father and I'm only 6 years older. She is preternaturally youthful.

Didn't read the thread but I'm 37 years old, recently lost some weight and lightened my hair and am anything but invisible to men... I don't need the attention but am not going to pretend it isn't (sometimes, when the guy isn't a pig) flattering. Work harder if you're feeling invisible and that bothers you.

I dunno, OP. I wouldn't trade 41 for the world.

Totally individual. I know plenty of women whose physical attractiveness peaked very early, hot HS chick. And then there are those like me, who I can objectively see (since I don't think I'm anything special, just average) and even DH agrees that I actually look better in my 30s than in my 20s. Now. I'm 35, I bet in 10 years when I look back the peak for me is going to be probably 30-33ish (also just before having kids, which make me look tired!)- but I would bet the spectrum of "peaks" is less bell curved than you would think, since so much goes in to it, including cultural bias, face shape, genetics, etc.

Also, since no one ever sits around contemplating this shit for men, or at least very rarely, what is the point- live your life. We all die someday. We are hopefully all old someday!

+1! This exactly. Confidence radiates from a person and shows even more when you use that confidence to present yourself positively, take pride in your appearance and expect men (or women, at any age) to treat you with respect. You'll meet someone more compatible then. FWIW, mid-20s is too young to "peak" when it takes so long to establish yourself and enjoy life. Women's life spans are at record highs, so pace yourself a little. Have fun!

40-50 is a pretty good sweet spot, too.

I'm not jealous of him, either. Most of the Latina wives I've come across over the years have been bossy, demanding, and instead of having the servants do the work, expect their husbands to do it.

Which is why looking older is great. It kind of sorts out the flakes/losers just in it for a night. You know that the guys who are approaching you are probably interested in something long term. It's a good thing.

My worth as a person is not defined by getting hit on by men. I'm 49 and still attract unwanted attention. I never liked the creepy luring & catcalling. I'm not overly attractive but have been told it's because of my caboose.

It's your attitude, not your age. I'm pushing 40 and still get hit on regularly, but only if I'm in a good mood and have made some effort on my appearance. The one thing that makes me completely invisible to men is having a small child with me.
