Anonymous wrote:Are all 3 hot schools right now? I'm hearing a lot about Sewanee. Kenyon was all the rage a few years ago. Have never heard much buzz about Hamilton.

Sarcastic, right?
Reads like a press release by the school.
No, actually I'm a proud mom. Our child is having a wonderful experience there -- I'm just telling you that it's not perfect. We had the kid who was devastated by all the schools that rejected him but who has really thrived at Sewanee. We are also a family where a lot
of people went to Vandy so we're not scared by Tennessee the way some of you guys might be!
Sewanee = the school where the brave go to drink after having been rejected everywhere else.
Great testimonial.

In what way?
Although a small school, many Swanee grads end up in DC. It is preppy, conservative tolerant of liberals
And beautiful. Use English degree to go MBA or JD route imo:
Anonymous wrote:9:27. For the most recent year, 2015 I have found a 40.6% acceptance rate. Not bad, but definitely not sub-30% which the other two schools are.
Hamilton and Kenyon are a little more academically focused. People at Sewanee party hard.
