This is terrible advice. I would think what a bitch and why is she even writing this? I have no idea why I look at these family posts on DCUM since they are a train wreck. There is always some woman angling to get her husband away from his family. This is his issue not yours. If he wants to see his family then he can work out where you will stay. Doesn't have to be the fancy resort. As for the kids, they will care someday. Having get togethers with cousins are the stuff of life. Good bad whatever they are important.
