There is a key hidden well in my attached garage. My garage has a code box on the outside. Also, three of my neighbors have keys.

A good hacker (or Jeff) could find out where you live. Hasn't anyone learned anything from the AM hack? Anything you post online can be traced back to the originating computer.


I love the idea of Jeff taking time off from running the site to go prowling round Chevy Chase, looking for spare keys in sheds and under fake rocks.

Magnetic lockbox under car bumper. Each lockbox has a house key and a car key without chip (so it will open car door but not start car). Lockbox has a 3 digit code.

When we are in DC, we use a lock box. At our forever home, we don't even lock the door most of the time. We also have two German Shepherds. A person would have to be a little nuts to break into our home.

We did that until a lovely spring day when we melted it. Now we have a lock box.

My parents use a lockbox mounted in their shed. We used one of those key boxes like people use to stick car keys under their car and stuck it on the underside of our grill. Since moving, we just don't have one.
