Not really. I have known too many that live a lifestyle above their means and all it takes is one big bump in the road. I have several relatives that always had more money, big cars, homes and such that are now living in apartments. They had money but not enough to extend their lifestyle as far as they did.

max we ever made was 225K. net worth 900K at 46,42 yrs old. 3 pensions and 2 ss worth 14K/ month at 60. Other 401K and IRA worth 7k/month more. family health great across the board I'll take my DCUM poor any day. wont work a day past 60 wife won't work past 55
