If your lot is in McLean, your lot premium will increase significantly after building a new house, much more so than most of other D.C. Areas. Therefore to maximize your instant equity you want the build a high standard house. NDI is a bottom feeder among builders.

Do the neighbors attitudes matter? Choose carefully.
Also, if you are going new, you won't want to buy next to an old house, FYI.


Ignore this poster. The close-in locations in Arlington, McLean and Falls Church all have a mix of older and newer homes and it usually works out fine.

You build with NDI in Pimmit Hills, not McLean, unless you're on a shoestring budget.
