Pnina dresses are exclusive to Kleinfeld where the show takes place. I was so confused when the show started, because when my sister got married in 1992, we went to Kleinfeld to pick up her dress and it was a discount warehouse in Brooklyn. Apparently it got a major upgrade and Manhattan address before the show started.

And yes, you do need a wax to wear some of the unlined ones. Thank you to whomever mentioned "stripper fairy" from TWOP! That is exactly why I came to this thread.

I do often wonder if those women who aren't just large chested but larger in general get the dresses that can have the bust line opened up by the maker so that when they get their actual dress there is more than what they try on in the sample.

I was married in the late 2000s and refused to spend more than about 1500 on a dress. I got lucky with a sample sale but I do have 34 D bra size and it was hit or miss. Almost everything was strapless though. I wanted a V-neck dress SO badly but it seemed like at that time all of the v necks were actually worse, so much of a plunge that a straight across sort of stiffer high strapless showed remarkably less cleavage! It was so annoying. Either that or they were cut so high like a high v-neck tee shirt that they looked like those fundamentalist dresses which was also NOT me.

I find the structure and making of those kinds of clothes fascinating, I wonder what goes into all the ordering and tailoring behind the scenes.

I wouldn't call money gained through corruption in an oppressive regime potato, potatoh. My point was that the means by which she had that much money to spend was even more disgusting than those hideous dresses.
