Tell him to get a pet cat or dog and name them Rocky. Rocky is a terrible nn for anyone especially a girl.

How about one of the precious stone/mineral names. Some even use 'G' like Gemma (precious stone), Giada (jade). But any of the precious stone names (Amber, Beryl, Ruby, Opal, Jade, Crystal, Esmeralda, Jewel, etc) would work.


I like this. Was going to say Ruby. Opal is also nice. Or Petra, if you want to go the Peter/Rock route.

You could name her Petra. It means stone - from Greek Petros.
