By the way there's a forum called strippernet.

They give out all sorts of tips on how to get more money from men and how to string them along and where the best clubs are to dance at. I went there out of curiosity, and I can tell you its pretty sordid.

OP, I would be disappointed just as you are. However you can't alienate your son by being outwardly harsh. Flies are caught with honey rather than vinegar. I would gently say something to him and then drop it.

My brother was in love with a stripper around that age and brought her over on Xmas morning. I still have nightmares of her on her knees under the Xmas tree with her thong hanging out. They lived together for awhile and then she "turned crazy" (even though we always knew she was crazy) and then several years later my brother married a scientist triathlete. She is perfect. My mom just kind of accepted the stripped until it inevitably ended. If you push back you will only push them together.

Translation: OP is surprised that no one agrees that she should go out of her way to alienate her son by being overly involved and judgmental. She does not want to talk about why she has a rule that he can't bring anyone home for dinner unless the relationship is serious. Since she did not get a lot of support for her controlling tendencies, she would like people to stop discussing them now, because the OP is the boss of everyone.
