But she won't be elected, because she's simply not a good candidate. She never has been. She's aloof and shrill and grating and not very personable. Very few of us would do any better, to be sure, because very few people are natural political candidates. But that's what it takes to be President, and she is completely lacking in that regard. The Democrats are throwing this one.
I'd love to see a man referred to this way. I'm sure we'll hear "shrill" a lot more in the future -- it's such a gendered insult.
She's not the natural extrovert that Bill or Obama are, but that doesn't mean she wouldn't be a fine leader. If the country can elect GWB, who was a bumbling fool, we can elect a smart lady who isn't a natural politician.
Testosterone and puberty help to ensure shrill applies to women, rather than men. I hardly think it's a vast male conspiracy to insult women.
By your logic, the above statement means the biological characteristic of a woman makes her unelectable. That is the very definition of sexism.

So you really deny that it's a gendered insult, meant to draw attention to an undesirable quality that is only an attribute of females?

I have a feeling we're going to hear a lot more insults that have nothing to do with her ability and everything to do with her femaleness.

And, what is that other name for donkeys? You know, the one that begins with an "a"?
Not a fan of the donkey mascot for Democrats, personally.
Elephants are big, slow, and take up too much space - just like Republicans.

I think it looks like penis envy.
I don't know about "envy" but try to depict that appendage in a text. It's very similar to HRC's logo. And I know this because I teach middle schoolers who do this regularly on their phones. Go ahead, try.
By your standard, powerpoint is chock full of penises.
