And you know this how? Maybe the school wasn't equipped to handle the child and his/her needs.
If that's true, a GOOD school would help him get properly placed ASAP. They wouldn't stick him in a damn closet. They'd get an LRE team there to help place him somewhere appropriate. They'd set up a temporary plan in the meantime. There are things a good school would do instead of just warehousing him.
