At a.non JKLM school, with some notable and honorable exceptions, most OOB parents sat back and expected the neighborhood parents to cough up their time and treasure to the school auction and other fundraising

Yes, but we have to acknowledge the waiting lists ones (because they are pretty strong and have good diversity)... really EHHS. So maybe KLMMORSehhs (lower case)

Every single parent on our school's PTA executive committee and auction committee are working parents (they are both made up pretty evenly of moms and dads). We don't have many SAHPs and those we do have do not get as involved in roles other than room parents.

Back in topic:

KLMM (not J mom) mom of 4. Literally years and years spent st the school and haven't attended once. We donate and I help get auction items but have never attended. Just not our thing.

There is no "big 3" or even "big 4" or "big 5", there is only a big 1 in DCPS.

I think there's an assumption that most people who refer on this board to JKLM are in fact Janney . . . so it's a way to distinguish that we're not all just talking about Janney

I had the same thought. All the J parents fightin to keep in exclusively JKLM and not add EHORS and here they are getting "kicked" out of their own exclusive clique because their attitudes are so horrible on this forum that people want to stay far away. From now on, it shall be J_____KLMMORS......EH and other S are still on the waiting list to get in apparently
