Wow, congrats to Crestwood!
Do you mean 16th St Heights rather than Crestwood? They're talking about West now feeding to Deals, right? So, are they going to start busing the lucky ducks who are now an hour walk away from school instead of 20mn?
No, they are not talking about changing feeders. They are talking about extending a grandfathering. West will not feed to Deal.

Anonymous wrote:To me, the big question here is whether or not this MS grandfathering applies to all re-assigned MSs, including, for example, Eaton. Or, as the Post article suggests, it more narrowly applies to the Ward 4 neighborhoods that were cut from Deal, namely Crestwood and 16th st heights.

Is she really allowed to do that? Isn't expansion of the grandfather period like that a substantive change that needs to be announced a year in advance? Otherwise, she could just change the plan willy-nilly whenever she wants simply by calling any changes a targeted set of grandfather tweaks.
Need input from someone who knows the regs better.
The relevant law specifically says "boundary" changes. Theoretically, she could change entire feeder patterns without notice.
