My mom has never had a wedding, a husband, and I was raised by grandparents. I will fix it all for her: let her run our wedding, our new family, and be primary caregiver to our DC.

1. I am aces at opening kitchen cupboards
2. I have no idea how to close kitchen cupboards.
3. I am unable to see dust
4. I can survive for months without eating a vegetable
5. I will put empty sour creme containers back into the refrigerator and leave them for weeks rather than throw them away.
6. Other than that I will be just about perfect.

I left him. Five years ago. But we have kids so i still have to deal with him. He is still verbally abusive, takes out his anger on me at every opportunity and generally causes me a lot if distress. When i stand up to him it gets worse and i feel like each time i fall further down. I am still afraid he will hurt me but he hasn't since we were first separated. I can avoid being alone with him so probably i am safe from physical harm - just can't seem to shake the fear. I am shaking right now as i type this - i don't talk about this at all IRL, it is just too much to lay on anyone. And i don't want anyone to know. Thank you for asking.

I will turn our linen closet into cornucopia of mostly expired OTC remedies for my rarely real illnesses.

I'll never throw any old clothing away. I'll keep suits I haven't worn since the 70's moldering in the large walk in closet that I finally agreed to have built for us.

I'm never going to come around to liking yours or anyone's cooking but my mother's whose idea of a meal was cream cheese on a cold bagel.

Are you saying that you expected the person to change? Because that is pretty silly. People don't change the way you want. And I married pretty much an alcoholic. I _hoped_ she would clean up her act, but I didn't assume she would.

I was to blind to see this and didn't think it would matter, but it does.
