I am sure my after chemo old lady hair is what did it. Oh well, I asked my coworkers and they all said I look like I am in my early thirties.

I had a teeny bopper, dipsy doodle teenage clerk offer me the senior citizens discount once (I'm 10 years older than you and my youngest is 12). I went into that store feeling great about life and left feeling (She called me an Old Lady!). Now I just laugh about it.

Forgot to say - treatment for breast cancer is no fun. Sorry to hear that you are going through that and I hope that you feel better soon.

56-57. That is when aging really accelerates. Before that I could pass for early 40s.

I think I look good for 44. A touch of Botox, fresh highlights, gym membership, teeth whitening...you get the picture.

I was looking through old photos and found a picture of my grandmother at age 44 and she looked really old. Her eyes were tired (drooping), hair was going grey, a little overweight. She looked like a 44 year old...or at least how I envision a 44 year old to look.

I think with the accessibility to hair/make-up, cosmetic dermatology, fitness facilities, dental procedures, etc. it is easy for us to look really good for our age.

When my kids we toddlers. The exhaustion, tight budget and evaporation of time to do much about my appearance have taken a toll.

same here, but I looked good ... now at 40 I cannot say the same. I look around me at school at women of my age and find that we all look the same. Age is a great equalizer!

People tell me I look younger than I am, but I really see signs of aging. Saggy jowls are the worst. Not so much lines or wrinkles though. And sun damage on my hands and now my neck. I noticed it at 45. I'm 47 now.
