I agree. I fault women for allowing this behavior. If they didn't hang out or hook up with the men this wouldn't be going on. Also who wants to meet a man in his 30s whose onky relationships have been sexual or with his mommy?


Women aren't just 'allowing' this behavior. Not every woman wants to be married by 25!

I might not be fully sexually happy, but long term/offspring related strategy would want me to partner with the woman that gave my offspring the best chance for success.

market value doesn't literally mean dollars and cents. it is a place holder of how competitive you are in the dating pool in relation to others.

I was at GW in the late 90s and it was practically monastic. There were a few couples who ended up married with kids. Lots of weirdos, very few normal people.

omg OP, law school is for adults. law school is NOT for your social life. meet and date people outside of law school. spend as little time as possible with fellow law students, except those in your study group or those you actually like as people.

one of the most bizarre things at my ivy law school was people really into running for law school student body leadership positions. like, flyers and everything. as if it were high school! come ON people, you're supposed to be trying to make law review, not student body president.

I had a similar experience. Countless couples formed in law school and are now married. It's actually a thing for the school - they even had a special Valentine's Day reception for alumni spouses last year.


About 10% of my law school class was just there for their MRS. So annoying.


A lot of these chicks have mommy and daddy footing the bill, anyway, so they have no skin in the game.
