We could start with the holy war waged by both Bushes. Life has certainly changed due to terrorism and the reason for that is religion. The reason white man came to this country was because of religion. I mean, the rules you religious people live your life by are prescribed to you from the "word of god", no? I am surrounded by people that refuse to take responsibility for their lives because they think it's out of their control. Women all over the world are subjugated and oppressed and have no control over their own lives and bodies.
C'mon, you all can't be that obtuse.
Let's focus a little and talk about you. If I thought I had a limited (unforeseen) amount of time on this earth PLUS claimed to be interested in others and the world at large, I would not spend all my time tappet tapping debates online.
Get out there and be the change you want to see, pp!
I still fail to see how anybody posting on this forum, especially you who keep responding to my posts, are supposedly spending "all my time tapping debates online". This, truly, is one of the oldest chat room insults and it doesn't work. Sorry.

I am not going to defend religion to you, is that what you want? I don't understand you.
Anonymous wrote:I'm curious how you all know that atheist PP isn't enjoying his life? How is it worse to question things here than to attack him on this board? I'm marginally religious, but some of you sound like angry teens attacking PP out of insecurity.

Maybe he is. Doesn't sound like it here, but wish him well.

FYI, I'm one of the atheists posting on this thread. There are a lot of us. More of us out there than gay people even, especially if you go to other countries. I'm sorry that it bothers you that you may not be "right", but that is your own battle to fight.

I I I I I... maybe, atheist poster, you could learn to live and let live. You don't need it. That's great! If others need it, if they find it useful, if it makes them happy, why does this upset you? Why can't you live and let live?
They day every iota of our lives isn't controlled by religion is the day atheists should let it go. We do tend to "live and let live" much more frequently than believers. It's time for you to look in the mirror.
You sound paranoid when you write that "every iota" of your atheist life is controlled by religion. That's ridicules.
Take your own advice. Let it go. Stop worrying about other people, stop wasting most of your day trolling on DCUM, and start living that life of yours.
