Ridiculous. If it were dog poop, I'd be mad. Pee? get over it OP.

Let's begin with the fact that I am an animal owner and lover. This conversation is about respect of other peoples property, as well as owner discipline and control over their animal.
We walk our dog multiple times a day. He does not walk on, or do his business on anybody's property. This is all about training. It is not a dog's fault, if he is allowed to pee on everything he smells. We see the affects in our own yard and the damage urine will do to grass, fencing, etc. This is not only about smell, but also about destruction. Mail boxes and the like can be destroyed by the acidity in urine. With a little training, your precious pooch will urinate where he is directed. A dog WANTS guidelines by their owner. Please stop and think that most people do not hate the animal, they just want to keep their property clean and in nice condition. A little consideration for our neighbors goes a long way.

Animal lover here. Animal pees and poops on owners property or is cleaned off neighbors property and that includes yellow snow removal. Don't be too embarrassed or lazy to be sanitary.

+1, why is this anti-dog crusader resurrecting months old posts just to complain about dogs some more? We get it, the neighbors dog ruined your snow and stole your pine cones. It's a national tragedy. The world will never be the same. Yada yada yada, bla bla bla.

I let my dog pee wherever he wants on our walks. Unfortunately, my neighbors all seem to be normal, reasonably well adjusted people because no one has ever complained... I would LOVE to get into it with some lunatic who thinks the base of his mailbox post is sacrosanct. It's OUTSIDE dude, I promise you it'll be ok...

You can't stop people from walking their dogs past your house, OP. I think letting dogs into other people's yards is rude and I never allow my dogs onto other people's yards, but if someone asked me to stop walking my dogs past their house I might laugh at the ridiculousness of it. It's not rude for dog owners to walk their dogs on public sidewalks.

It will neutralize the odors and might help stop dogs from peeing there.

Dog walkers should keep their dogs away from mailboxes and landscaping. A fellow man's property is more important than a dog.
Most do at least pick up the feces which is a step in the right direction. Dogs should be walked around their owners property
until it does most of its business.
