Just sooooo not accurate. Starvation mode is such a misunderstood concept.
I am pretty sure they tell themselves that as an excuse to eat more. Then they whine and wonder why they're still fat.

Week 1 complete - 0 lbs lost. I know results dont happen overnight for everyone but I have been so good this week, made it to the gym 4 times (cardio and weight training) and ate really well, but not perfectly on my non-500 cals days.
It just sucks.
I'm sure I'll get reamed for this but try going vegan. Cut out all dairy, eggs and meats (leave the occasional fish if you like). Cutting out dairy alone DH and I each lost 5 lbs. Cutting out meat and the others (really forcing us to eat a lot of great veggies and whole grains (lots of rice) we dropped another 20 without insane exercise. You have to do it for at least 2 weeks for your body to rid itself of all the dairy, but it was so worth it for us. Seriously, starving yourself is so not the answer. Even one day of 500 cals (much less than you need to function) often results in your body going into starvation mode where it's obviously going to hold onto the calories from the other days.
