So it came as a "surprise" that a school on the coast of Malibu had a gorgeous campus? I think the real surprise might be the religious nature of the school (unless your DD is Born Again).
We will be heading to the west coast in December to spend time with family and will also walk around some of the colleges. These are some beautiful campuses. I wasn't aware of how lovely some of these campuses are. All of those choices were surprising to me.

No dog in this fight, but the Wash U. people often come off as very anxious for attention. Lots of hyperbole, lots of superlatives. It doesn't leave one with a good impression.
