Haycock and Longfellow are in falls church. There's nothing shady about it. They were possibly hoping to avoid the criticism that someone dare try to pass off a falls church house that feeds into mclean as being physically located in mclean proper. There was a precious 10-page thread of people raging that anyone suggest this area is mclean.
Ha it's clearly trying to invoke a perceptual connection to FCC.

A house a block away would not offend abutting properties of what the neighbors call gigantor.
The neighbors int eh video clearly seem more concerned with the house than the fire.
The house is on a corner and only has two abutting properties. If I were you, I'd be careful about what you insinuate about particular neighbors.
Why? The video will be of interest in the investigation, obviously. Are you naming names?

Why not? It's a rather small corner lot on a busy intersection, but across from Haycock ES and - although a bit stretch - walkable to WFC metro. Unless of course you're superstitious and believe in ghosts, karma or whatever...
I think PP was referring to the blatant animosity by the neighbors about the first (if not, one of the first) new builds. New builds do not sit well with people who are in the old houses. One reason is jealousy.
That area (West Falls Church/22043) is full of new builds. Some preceded "Gigantor" and others followed. The fires at the one site haven't kept people from building elsewhere in the neighborhood and they obviously haven't dissuaded one of the area's larger builders from building at the same site.
So what? Just because you won't admit there is animosity, does not mean animosity does not exist between old and new houses.
Give it up.
I'm more than happy to acknowledge people like you have a lot of animosity and biases. Others are usually nicer to each other.
