Yup! Also, I just don't see why God would only speak to one small group of people and to hell with the rest. If he created them doesn't he have some sort of responsibility to them?

1)read the De-Text Book for all the vivid sex scenes in the bible that the preachers pass over;
2) go to St. Paul's letters to read all about what he thought of slavery.
3) the book is rife with brutal rapes and scenes of "divine" retribution or retaliation (depending on your POV)

No it's not divinely inspired. It's just what B. Maher says it is: a big book for fairy tales.

DOn't worry -- it's just a made-up story. When Archeologists found Jericho, there were no signs of there being any walls around it, so there was nothing to "come tumbling down" in the supposed battle that Joshua fought.
