Same poster back. Yeah, never used or heard the term "DMV" until a few years ago nor did I ever hear of "NoVA" either, except when used to describe the community college! If someone told me I was from NoVA, I would be horribly offended and think, "Who are you saying went to Nova????? I did NOT go to that community college!"
Why would you be offended about someone asking if you went to a community college? Lots of decent, smart and intelligent people attend community college.
