We like the "make my day" bibs. We only have bought 5 and they've been going strong for 5 years now with constant use. AMAZING bibs! They can go in the top rack of the dishwasher but usually we just wipe them.

Im a minimalist my kids never wore one, just changed shirts and then wipes the floor as needed. I find the bibs with the pockets especially disgusting as good just collects there gross.
I like the pocket ones! As I’m cleaning up her meal, I just turn it inside out, and a quick rinse with a little soap under the faucet and it’s dry for her next meal. I agree bibs are necessary, but I like that her shirt is always clean after eating!
