Every time I take my car in, I get a Mercedes loaner, and my car comes back washed and vacuumed. The people who work there are seriously trained to be at your service. That is the real reason I'll never go back to any other car.

So consider that. But I drive 1 hour each way (and I am in a close in suburb just 9 miles away) but I have to drop off DS first and then 45 minutes to Capitol Hill with traffic. A nice car makes it much more comfortable. I can afford it though. If you are debating between a $15k car and a $40k car, consider a VW with nice options.
My Honda minivan has all of these plus plenty of leg room in the second row....and the third...
Honda seats are hard and uncomfortable.
I was in Brussels for work several years ago and squeezed into the back of a Mercedes taxi between my supervisor and his boss. It was the most comfortable I've ever been in a car.

Not possible. 10 years with no repairs. Still the same tires, brakes, wipers, etc. I don't think so unless you drive 500 miles a year.
