Yes, but they better be because you're there all of the time. The only thing better than the Mercedes service is not having to drag your ass and your car to the dealership every other month! I got quite sick of Euromotor Cars before I finally decided to trade in my always-in-the-shop Mercedes for a car that didn't need so much maintenance and repairs. All my friends with Mercedes complain about how many issues they have with their cars.

What you're missing here is the Mercedes service from the dealership. It's OUTSTANDING! Every time I take my car in, I get a Mercedes loaner, and my car comes back washed and vacuumed. yes. depending on weekday or weekend and including running around doing errands. Not including the rare trip somewhere where its 5 hours + of course.

I didn't get a mercedes but I upgraded from a camry to a subaru outback - limited edition with heated seats, moon roof, 10way control driver's seat, back up cam, sirius xm radio, bluetooth system, etc - and it has impacted me greatly.
The car upgrade made what had been a miserable commute enjoyable.
Upgrade. You'll kick yourself for not doing it sooner. Perhaps rent the car first and test the commute to see the difference it makes.

I was in Brussels for work several years ago and squeezed into the back of a Mercedes taxi between my supervisor and his boss. It was the most comfortable I've ever been in a car.
I disagree. Honda seats are durable. I keep cars 12-15 years.

You must not own a Mercedes. My "modern new" Mercedes needs expensive repairs- not maintenance- quite frequently. And Mercedes doesn't sell the parts, even things like wipers, to Jiffy Lube so you have to go to an authorized Mercedes repair shop.

Nope, I'd buy a nicely-loaded Acura sedan. Mine is comfortable, looks nice and gets good gas mileage. Service is cheaper than Mercedes.

I spend 40 to 60 minutes a weekday in my car, and my Honda Pilot is perfectly comfortable. I'm almost 50.

I'm actually leaning towards getting a new Suburban. Talk about comfortable and owning the road. Not sporty, obviously, but roomy, powerful and comfortable.

I love my mercedes. Can't go back to a car without heated front seats, bluetooth, rear view camera, automatic wipers, etc. Yes, the back seat has no leg room. So consider that.
