Sushi. Wish I could enjoy it as much as my friends do.

I like fennel just fine; I was unaware so many people used it in their cooking.

You do realize that the red liquid in meat is not blood, right?

What do you suppose it might be? And it sure tastes like blood to me.

Ok, this is news to me. It's not blood?

Nope! It's water and protien. I learn something new every day.

It's red, it's oozing from flesh, and it tastes like blood. It's close enough to quacking for me to call it a duck.

What? It tastes nothing like blood. Blood is thick and tinny. The jus from rare meat is meaty and watery.

Don't tell me we have different taste buds and perceptions?! Because it tastes nauseatingly bloody to me. So I don't order steaks out because I don't like a lecture from a server with my dinner.

PP here who mentioned fruit and honey in oatmeal. I've had it in various states of soft, stirred, etc. It's just warm mush. It doesn't taste like anything. And I just don't need it, so it doesn't matter. My diet isn't missing anything because of it -- I can get its nutrients through other sources.

I will, however, eat oatmeal cookies

Raw vegetables and oatmeal.

I posted earlier in the thread saying I can pretty much eat anything. Thank you for reminding me I lied. Fuck oatmeal. So gross and no amount of fruit and honey can rescue it.

You're welcome. Thanks for cracking me up. Fuck oatmeal indeed.

Don't stir it. That's what makes the repellant gluey texture.

I agree with you one million percent! I've tried so hard to like yogurt over the years, but I just can't do it! I've bought sooooo many different brands, too!

Fish and other seafood. So many healthy options are done with fish. I can force myself to eat some fish if I have to, but other seafood makes me gag.
