I have a great hairstylist. I go every 7 weeks or so for trim/highlight/color. I like changing my hairstyle and do...bangs, layrs, long, short, lighter, darker, I do it all.
I whiten my teeth with pro trays several times a year.
I work out at home on a treadmill 4-5 times a week. I am petite with curves and really have to spend some time shopping for flattering clothes that fit properly and proportionately and are age appropriate.
I'm a bargain hunter and am always on the hunt for great looking fashionable clothes that I can wear every day. Shop mostly at target, tj maxx and thrift stores. I own nothing precious and like updating my wardrobe with necklaces from charming Charlie's, for instance. Same with shoes. I'll buy several pairs of trendy shoes (flats and heels and sandals) from Payless and count on wearing these one season.
I always wear some makeup and style my hair. More time means more makeup and more hairstyling time. I am fast...even today, racing off to church, I spent maybe ten minutes drying and styling my hair, period.

I don't even need to open a thread and read through it to know what the end result will be, basically some bitter bitch exposing herself as usual.
Don't forget that every thread has to involve some woman bragging about how awesome she is and how easy it is for her.
I'm really not getting why people are hating on the 5am workout women. So they get up early to work out- who cares? I work out Saturday mornings, and several times during the week at lunchtime or in the evenings. I have no jealousy of someone who gets up early to do it. I choose to do it at other times. It makes me feel better to exercise, if you don't want to exercise then just own it rather than hurling insults.

Would you generally be considered an overachiever (you went to a top school, have a great, prestigious career, etc) or are you just ambitious in your workouts? What drives you to get up at 5am to workout when you could just sleep in like the rest of us?
Fear of being dumped or cheated on.
Fear of being fat.
Insecurity.
Vanity.
I'd have to agree with this.

It's obvious to everyone but them.
I went to a top school and have a prestigious career, and there's no way in hell you'd catch me working out at 5 am. I don't think it's an overachiever thing. Pretty sure it's an insecurity thing.

Haha--whoa, crazy vicious people. Simmer down! There's also something called a "morning person." And for others, working out feels great and makes their whole day better.

How do you manage to fit it in with work and a family? I think it is important to maintain your physical appearance and look good, but it can be exhausting at times!
I have four kids and work full time.
Shopping: I generally go shopping for myself once a year. I am not a growing child so I am never growing out of things and rarely so rough on my clothes. But about once a year, I need either new shoes or a new dress or a couple of pairs of jeans, or a new swimsuit.
Working out: 4-6 times a week.
Hair: I get my hair trimmed about every 3 or 4 months.
Nails: I don't get manicures, unless a friend invites me and it's a socializing thing. I get pedicures about once every two or three months? Mostly I use one of my DD's bottles of nail polish and just do my toes at home. I leave my fingernails bare.
I work from home so am lucky to pretty much make my own hours, aside from meeting with clients. I bring my two youngest kids to yoga with me a lot. If they don't want to do yoga, they sit in the lobby and read/do homework. I'll go swim laps during their swim class often.
You don't work full time. You are cheating your employer and it might be time card fraud. You can't watch kids and work full time it's illegal.
Very odd response, do you know something the rest of us don't? And What is with the illegal comment at the end?
