All of her colleagues and friends kept coming up to my Dad saying how much she talks about him, while my mom got no notice. My mom stayed home with us after giving up an exciting career and my Dad traveled very extensively when we were kids. As my parents and I were driving to the airport, my Mom declared that she was never going back to visit my sister - but didn't say why.
