Quiet is a benefit of living in the burbs. Putting up with noise is what you have to do in an urban environment.

Good grief. You peeps would never survive in areas with more frequent snow. My dad and most of our neighbors (great lakes town) would be up clearing their driveways at 5am on a regular basis in order to get to work on time. With noisy snowblowers! Fact of life. No two hour delays up there.
