So sorry. You need to figure out what you want to happen if he refuses to step up to the plate.. divorce, continue being miserable, etc. Once you have an idea what you want then I would sit him down and lay it. Either he straightens up and starts contributing in a more equitable manner that you both agree on, or you go with your plan B...whatever that is. I too have an ass hole DH and who's a fairly crappy father but he's no where near that bad. Jesus pick up your crying child you jerk!

Age of the kid? Still, each parent needs to be able to care for and comfort the child. If the husband isn't good at it, then he needs to practice. "Tired and grumpy"? Yeah, we all are, but we still get out of bed and take care of our children. Sorry, OP. The situation sucks.

Sorry OP, your DH is a dick. I can't believe he works part time but you pay for your DS to go to daycare full time. I can't believe he won't drop him off. The whole thing is crazy.
