Cancer sucks! so sorry for you and your family! you have been a wonderful sister and being by her side must be providing her much needed comfort and lasting love. We too just found out a close family member has a very rare form of cancer. We are getting ready to start treatment but it is already in stage three. Stay strong and have faith! This is the OP. Thanks, everyone for the words of support at this difficult time. My sister is almost gone. She hasn't had food or water for days and it is clear that she is in the process of crossing over from life to death. When I saw her yesterday it almost broke my heart. She looked so frail and could barely speak. All she could say was "thank you." I don't know what she was thanking me for, but I'd like to think it was her way of showing caring towards me. I cannot believe this is happening -- she is so young. This is so unfair, and so difficult to witness.
