I think we have a bunch of helpless little girls on this forum not adult women. There is a lot of posturing and pretending these days but woman's lib and all it stood for is dead. Oh gee, a man tries to cajole me in to staying and I am just to weak and helpless to say no and leave. Oh, me oh my...what ever shall I do? There are rapists behind every door....

Aside from that, as a rape victim myself, I will tell you the word "rapey" makes me want to puke.
No one who has ever been raped would call the actions leading to it. "Rapey".

It was written in 1944, people. When people DID judge a woman for having premarital sex, and for wanting to have it! Times were different then, and the song reflects those times.
Remember Wake Up Little Suzy? 1957. She didn't even have sex with the guy but just fell asleep and "her reputation was shot". Also not a rapey song, though.
The line is "our reputation is shot," not "her reputation is shot." It doesn't seem date rapey at all because they went to the movies and fell asleep. Plus, there's a line in which he sings, "our goose is cooked." That's not a sick song, that's squeaky clean teenagers worried about breaking curfew.

Oh and to the last PP - women want sex just as much as men. Maybe not with you, based on your post, but in general.
