The thing is, if OP has had a rough year, her judgment might be impaired. 16:26 "We had" is very different from "I had." I'm a PP, a single mom, and OP just needs to know solo travel with an infant and a toddler would be a serious challenge.

OP, ignore the nasties! I wanted to ask this myself. My DH can't take time off work, and I desperately need a change of scenery! I'm off from work for 10 days in Dec and I was thinking FL due to the short time flight.

Wow you all are spoiled if you can't handle that on your own. It's not that big of a deal.


Have you ever travelled by plane with an infant and a toddler? Arranged ground transportation and handled the luggage, stroller, car seats all by yourself? Doable? maybe. Relaxing.?NO.

We have had nice laid back trips with our toddler/preschool kids to Sanibel/Captiva, Marco Island (the Marriott), Naples FL, San Francisco (define "walkable" though - Discovery Cove in Sausalito, Exploratorium in SF, the Japanese tea garden, crazy steep hills, you may still need a car). The further south the better, except for the Keys even Florida can be iffy for pool weather in December. A resort in the Keys with childcare and an on-site spa....
