If you've already lost the weight why not take measurements and see what you size is that way? If a large bust is an issue you can buy a size larger dress to fit the bust and have the rest tailored to fit.

Interesting. I think it depends on your body/curves.
I’m 165 and just under 5’9”. My size 12 dresses are too tight even with spanx. I need to drop 5-10 pounds in order for my size 12 to fit well.
I’m 45, and it’s tough to lose weight at my age (and after multiple c-sections that made my belly fluffy).
I would need to be under 150 for size 10 to fit. Even when I was 140, size 8 was too small.
Pre-kids, I was 128 and a size 4 or 6.
