When I was in grad school, I had a pet that needed to be given medicine via a syringe. My mom came to visit me and found this syringe in the kitchen out on the counter and freaked out that I was shooting drugs. There was no needle attached to the syringe, nor any way that a needle could be attached. It was insane where her mind immediately went.


And funny that I had several bowls simultaneously hidden in my bedroom that she never saw.

Any update, OP? Did you confront your son? (Or your DH, for that matter, who we all think is jumping to bizarre conclusions)
