Um, I hate to break it to you, but if you are texting gossipy pictures of other moms from school pickup…then YOU GUYS are the a**hole moms.

The women were hiding behind a tree like 3 trees away from the few parents watching practice. I am sorry- but this is rude. As for only seeing each other then- not in this case, they have dinners together etc. Ok- so they are good friends- but it is rude to zoom off on every practice/game and huddle physically away from the rest of the team. And it's not like we don't know each other- we either have kids in the same grade and school or other (religion).
Sorry, I don't get this, why are you complaining? Are all parents supposed to sit together, WTF? Do people have quotas to fill for how much time they are required to talk to you, sit by you, etc? I am asking in all sincerity and seriousness. You complaint re the tree talk is so ridiculous. Read what you wrote again. You sound upset that the other people aren't sitting all around YOU, that you aren't the queen bee in some imaginary mommy soccer popularity contest. What is it you want or need to remedy this? I am not sure if I have read that, and I read the entire thread.
Maybe they wanted some privacy, maybe they like the smell of the tree, maybe they need a break from watching soccer so they go by the tree, maybe they are tree hungers or tree worshipers (a la GOT). You are the one who sounds paranoid.
Feeling left out is no fun, and unfortunately is not something we outgrow with age. These feelings and situations can take on a life of their own, don't let this over take your rational thought.

I am not there for myself; I am there because my kid wants to do this activity.
Just look at soccer as bonus "me" time and don't worry about it being "group" time for you.
