Social justice is a good thing -- unless you'd prefer social injustice?

Anonymous wrote:Agreed. The lack of transparency and consistency in MCPS is a huge problem. There always seems to be convoluted bureaucrat-speak which hides-the-ball on even the most basic things (report cards, grading systems, enrichment opportunities/criteria). Who, exactly, is this massive public system supposed to be serving???

If total points on the test is equal to 48, 33 seems like an awfully low score to qualify for advanced placement. I was told that the test took place over several days and that if they had difficulty with the first problem, they would not go any further and were placed in math 4.

my kid never took a math camp, never did extra work, enjoys school and she is in it because ............... she works hard......... on her own.............

Right and who cares about your kid? This is a data gathering exercise because MCPS isn't transparent. Move on to the next thread if this one isn't for you.
Anonymous wrote:Have we cracked the transparency nut yet? It's still unclear how the county handled these assessments, and if it was uniform across the county. Shall we call the central office and get clarification?[b]
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
