I don't know how much longer they have. They've been dropping services and trying to hold onto their crazy prices. I think they'll survive the summer due to the pool (though the swim team program is a disaster) There are hardly any classes anymore (adult or kids) and the service sucks. We're paying $200 per month vs. the $100 we were paying at Sport & Health in Worldgate (couple plus 2 kids). It's so much more convenient for us but if we were closer to worldgate we'd go back. The facility is fabulous but the price and poor management makes it hard to stay despite the location.

I don't think the gym is crowded at all. The outdoor pool, on the weekends, maybe. I go to the gym 5-6 times/week and no - I don't find it "crazy crowded".
Ditto, the gym is a ghost town most days

We're $132 for a couple and $40 per kid. $180 was the old diamond rate.

Oh, interesting. They just quoted this and I didn't sign up. Did they charge you an admin fee or any other sign up fees?

$25 admin fee. You can join in centerville, sterling, or ffx and transfer too....

I think if you don't already have access to a pool, then yes.

I keep trying to get my DH to ditch LTF (I'm in Ashburn). We have a super golds that is 30% the price of LTF. The kids are older and are starting to hate the kids club, so if I can't get them to go there, then what's the point? We have neighborhood pools. Besides, getting into the Dulles LTF is a nightmare.

This will be the first summer for the pool since the gym just opened last September. The pool opens Memorial Day weekend.

Just go ask for the lower rate, what do u have to lose? Tell them your friend got a lower rate, put the burden on the staff. It's a game, play the game.

The opposite. They've declared some classes premium and it's no longer all classes for free (well 40 a month). I hope sport & health or Golds buys the facility out of the inevitable bankruptcy.
