DH or you work as a bartender. Easiest and fastest way to make money on tips. Just working 2 or 3 nights a week will do.

Working as catering server you can make a good hourly wage and pick up gigs when you can work them. I would just get a part time job if I needed $2K. Adjusting your tax withholdings can also help.
