Not "proof" just evidence of an emerging profile of the bombers (draw your own conclusions):
-Apparently someone managed to save a few pics and quotes from the older (dead) bomber's social media pages.
One alleged quote under a pic of him and his girlfriend at the boxing gym: " Tamerlan says his girlfriend is half Portuguese, half Italian girlfriend and converted to Islam: "She's beautiful, man!"
Another alleged post shows him without his shirt over the quote along the lines of "Tamerlan says he doesn't usually take his shirt off so girls don't get bad ideas: "I'm very religious." "
No religious Muslim would have girlfriends. . . .

You don't know anything about Islam. Religious Muslims do not have girlfriends, converts or not. It doesn't matter what he says; if he had a girlfriend, he cannot be a religious Muslim, as Islam - not himself - defines it.
Wait. And there are no out of wedlock births in some other religions?

The brothers who are alleged to have planted bombs near the finish line of the Boston Marathon on Monday reached the United States in 2002 after their ethnic Chechen family fled the Caucasus. They had been living in the Central Asian republic of Kyrgyzstan and were prevented from resettling in war-racked Chechnya.
In speaking about his boxing career in 2009, Tamerlan told a photographer that in the absence of an independent Chechnya he would rather compete for the United States than for Russia, a hint that past troubles were not forgotten. On a YouTube channel, he recently shared videos of lectures from a radical Islamic cleric; in one, voices can be heard singing in Arabic as bombs explode.
“My son Tamerlan got involved in religious politics five years ago,” his mother, Zubeidat K. Tsarnaeva, told Russia Today television in an interview from Dagestan, the Russian republic bordering Chechnya where she and her husband live. “He started following his own religious aspects. He never, never told me he would be on the side of jihad.”
FBI officials confirmed Friday that they questioned Tamerlan in 2011 at the request of the Russian government about possible connections to Chechen extremists. He was interviewed by the FBI in Boston, and the investigation found “no derogatory information.”
His younger brother, who was widely known as “Jahar,” may have followed in his footsteps. “He talked about his brother in good ways,” said Pamala Rolon, who was the residential adviser in the dorm where Dzhokhar lived at the University of Massachusetts at Dartmouth. “I could tell he looked up to his brother.”
Although terrorists from the Caucasus have struck in Moscow and other parts of Russia, the conflict in the region has never led to attacks in other countries. One possible explanation for the Boston bombings, said Aslan Doukaev, an expert on the Caucasus who works for Radio Liberty in Prague, is that the brothers were motivated by radical jihadism, not Chechen separatism.
As the war in Chechnya wound down after Russian forces withdrew — they left formally in 2009 — violence has spilled into neighboring republics such as Dagestan, where the Tsarnaev family once found shelter and where the brothers’ parents now live. That conflict is increasingly marked by radical Islamic terrorism in an often vicious cycle of attack and reprisal between insurgents and Russian security forces. Tamerlan visited Dagestan last year, according to an official with knowledge of his travels.

They robbed a 7-11 so I don't think they were funded by anyone or any organization.
Boston Police officials said at the last press conference, that based on store security footage the store was robbed before they went in. They are not responsible. In the Boston area, robbing a Stop 'n Shop or 7/11 at gunpoint is like an everyday thing.

I don't think they were framed. I'm sure their family is in utter shock and denial. Chechnya has a complicated history and being from there may have contributed to the older brother's feelings of disconnect. But he does seem influenced by radical Islam, specifically Salafism:

Well, as a "barely educated" American ( BS degree from public university) here is what I have picked up about Chechnya over the years just from reading the newspaper:
1) It borders the former USSR Republics of Khazakhistan, Uzbekistan, and Kyrgistan ( excuse my ignorant American spelling)
2) Historically muslim since the time of Timerlain, the Czar used these people as horseman in his infantry d/t their historic and legendary rep for being fierce and determined fighters ( note the name of the older brother)
3) During the break up of USSR, Checnyans , who always resented Soviet hegemony, fought for independance and did this fighting the old fashioned way, lacking a civilian army ( terrorism)
4) This coincided with Bosnian war in which Muslims were being attached by Serbs ( Orthodox Christians historically allied w/ Russia since 13th century)
5) this also dove tailed the SSI/ Saudi/ CIA backed Mujahaddin fighting in Afghanistan against the Soviets
( all of this formed a training camp tr-feca) and funnel for young unemployed muslim youth from Saudi, Yemen, and UK and other places to come to Checnya to train to fight Jihad
6) flash forward a decade or so and naiive little USA is pretty clueless as to who is a former collaborator Checnyan ( who worked for Soviets as the Boston family seems to have done , given their alliance to the current Chenyan leader who is a Russian puppet) and b) who is a bonafide Chechnyan fighter aka " terrorist" Or given the schizoid nature of Soviet society over the last 80 years, can not one be both ?
My guess is we are still at the Kindergarten level in divining this sort of "intelligence" and we naiively grant "refugee status" to the WRONG people who pull the wool over our eyes ALL THE TIME, just like this family seems to have done.
You! Barely educated American! If you are dedicating such an enviable effort to studying the people, at least learn this:
Their proper description: Chechens. Not Chenyans. Not Checnyans. Not any other number of permutations your fingers have concocted. Chechens.
