Really amusing question: what's better crack or crystal meth?

We don't do much fast food, but sometimes I will pick up a few plain burgers from mcDonalds and serve them with a lettuce salad at home. Easy and cheap!

And we totally go the other way. My wife refuses to allow cereal into our house but the kids get fast food (McD or Chipotle) almost every week.

and you won't find grade D in any supermarket around here,

My sister worked at Taco Bell in college and told me that when they run out of beans, they substitute a gravy/flour mixture. Ew.

Well, 2-4 times a week would qualify as "often" in my book. Very different than once in a while.

Yeah...I would rather be laughed at than feeding my family crap. Especially after one of my close relatives got horrible health issues after eating fast food 2-4 times a week. A relative is now on a very strict and bland diet, and pays huge money to doctors to treat him and etc.

What's your beef with Chick-Fil-A? It's reformed.

None of what's listed in the subject. We don't do fast foods at all, never ever. For quick meals just have something we already have, sometimes even a glass of milk with bread and jam, or tea with an open faced sandwich (bread, butter and cheese). I often cook something that freezes well (broth, savory pastries, meatballs), and always have frozen broccoli and some fresh beans (for example, garbanzo). We always have fruits. Or I would make a very basic tomato salad with olive oil and bread. Or if I have at least 20-30 minutes, I can make pasta or mashed potatoes.

What would be unhealthy about peruvian chicken? It's just a really good rotisserie chicken. I'm pretty careful about what we put in our bodies, but I can't imagine what the issue could be here.

For the record, my at-home fast food alternative is grilled cheese (provolone on buttered whole grain bread) with red pepper rings or carrots and sliced apples or grapes. I make a point of having those basic ingredients on hand.
