I think it is disgusting to wash what is essentially a private part in the sink where people put their dishes. If you have no problem with this, I would love to see how clean you keep your houses. I have NO PROBLEM with breastfeeding - I think it is great for those who can do it.
What I am saying is, would you wash your underwear in the kitchen sink???? Obviously not! It's the same thing.

The less said/seen, the better. But more power to you if you are not shy like me! To get around washing I have a mini fridge to store pump parts during the day, and I take them home to wash a night.
I currently pump too.. 3 xs a day. This is nasty storing it without sterilizing after each pump. Get over your self and wash it out for the safety of your baby for goodness sakes
It's actually perfectly sanitary to store the pump parts, used, in the fridge to keep them sterile in between pumping at work. This is what I did. I didn't trust that they would get clean and sanitized enough in between the 2 daily pumpings at work and so I kept them in a mini-fridge during the day and then washed them when I got home.

you are not the only one. O've overheard my husband's coworkers (men in their 20s) being grossed out at someone's breast milk stored in the office fridge. Hearing thins convo made me disguise mine.
