Our (v rough) breakdown for the two of us is:
rent: 2k
loans: $500
car (parking, insurance, payment): $500
spending money (clothes, booze, eating out, supermarket): 2200
housekeeper: $100
We save about 3k a month.
I think that's SO MUCH money. We make a ton more then most of our friends, who are mostly the do-gooder types. I love not worrying about every little penny. But I feel like it was just yesterday that I used to skip meals to save money so I just remind myself that this could go as fast as it came.
Oh those do-gooder fools! They could be selling their souls and saving 3k a month!
