Hated Dr. Conlon. He spent a short amount of time with my son gave a misdiagnosis (which was heartbreaking at the time) and pushed us off onto someone else. Worst medical doctor we have seen.

We also see Dr. Conlon and have found him to be extremely thorough and helpful. Well worth the wait and his cost.

Dr Conlon, is without a doubt the finest doctor for our son that we could ever know. Without any question, call and make that appointment.

We waited four weeks to see the Dr. My husband and I both took the morning off from work for the appointment. We visited three months ago. Dr. Conlon gave us very little feedback during the exam, interview, meeting - whatever. We were told we would receive a report in two weeks. IT's been three months. I've made about five phone calls to the office. We've stopped caring what this man has to say about our son. What could he possibly remember about our son three months after he "examined" him?

Very nicely put. I agree and feel very lucky that we were able to get in before he stopped seeing new patients.

We are new to this site..Have an appt for our seven year old with anxiety, motor planning issues and encopresis..Our appointment is in April

I've had the same experience. When the report is necessary, I send him weekly reminders apologizing for bothering him but asking for the report and have found that I get it within a few weeks. When it is not important, I don't bother him for it. He is very hard working and often sends me responses late at night or on the weekends. I have found his reports very thorough and useful and have successfully used them to get reimbursed for therapies.

I'd feel free to badger him. You know he's got ADHD, right. It's not an excuse but having lived with ADHD family members (including my brothers, DH and 2 DC), I can totally see how he might get derailed. I badgered him in a nice way and got my report.

I am in the same boat. It has been 2 months, which seems like a long time. I know he didn't really "find anything" with our son, but I would still like the report. He promised me a few weeks ago that I would have it "next week" and I still don't. I like him a lot and don't want to badger him and I imagine there are kids out there that need reports ASAP for school related/county qualification type issues, but I would still like it in a timely manner.

Well . . . it took us 9-months to see a report. We saw Dr. Conlon about three years ago when he was still working for Children's. His report only summarized everything he did and the discussion he had with our son. We basically waited a long time and paid a lot of money and got NO RECOMMENDATION AND NO DIAGNOSIS. This was the most frustrating experience of our lives!

I tried reaching Dr. Conlon at 301-530-9200 but was told I had the wrong number. Does anyone have the new number or an alternate point of contact for his practice.

The evaluation for our then 5 year old was in the $800 range. It's cheaper for a child younger than 4. I want to say that one was $400. It's been a several months since we had a regular follow up but I want to say that was in the $160 range. I believe Dr. Conlon's prices are in the average range for these types of services.

I hope I don't come across as snarky. I know what it's like to want to know absolutely everything about your DC's challenges and being so afraid you might be missing something or a diagnosis might not be correct or complete. But it's hard for me to offer advice because I really don't understand why you think you need to see Dr. Conlon in the first place. Do you think you're missing something? Do the diagnoses you have not make sense to you? What are you looking for Dr. Conlon to provide?

FWIW, Dr. Conlon sees my kids. We went to him initially when our oldest was 5 for an ADHD evaluation. We were also having problems with our local school which refused to even evaluate our DC to see if special services were needed. We'd hired an education consultant who, along with our regular pediatrician, recommended him for an ADHD evaluation and to see if there were any other developmental issues we were missing. Dr. Conlon was fabulous and with his evaluation, we were able to get the services our oldest so desperately needs.

We saw him most recently with our youngest (age 3) who appeared to have general developmental delays which were being addressed through Child Find and the county's special ed preschool. We wanted to have a better picture of his development and to know if there were any other underlying issues that we weren't seeing. Again, Dr. Conlon was fabulous but it's been a good two months and we're still waiting for a formal report.

If you could elaborate more, you might get some better advice. I'd hate to see you spend your money on something that may not be necessary. He's not cheap.
