I personally think Marshall HS is over rated. The US News report can't just keep saying that the same schools are great year after year. Once in awhile they toss a bone.

Love both Mclean and Pimmit, I live in Mclean and also have a rental in Pimmit. I think that maybe in about 5 years Pimmit will catch up to Mclean, at least the Mclean that borders pimmit.

Not sure what you're talking about. The "whole marshall/mclean sour grapes" thing consists of "Crazy Marshall Lady" waging a private vendetta and getting shot down.

Marshall isn't really on the radar screen for McLean parents or students, unless they live in the handful of apartments/townhouses in McLean zoned for Marshall, or are in the Marshall IB program. On the other hand, Langley and McLean are traditional rivals, like Lake Braddock and Robinson, Washington-Lee and Yorktown, or Stuart and Falls Church. Marshall's main rival is Madison, not McLean.
