So what's the update??

Whether it's due to the incompetence or indifference (I believe it's both) of the current management, we no longer consider Kindercare a safe place for our child. Chronic teacher turnover, roach and lice infestations, unwillingness to work with county or contruction company to address safety issues posed by the high-rise construction next to the playground...the list just kept getting longer. Eventually we felt that we would have been neglecting our primary job as parents (protecting the wellbeing of our child) had we decided to ignore the multiple warning signs and keep them in Kindercare. I would strongly urge any prospective parent to consider all other options before entrusting your child's safety to Kindercare.
Wow Saw a roach crawling toward my kid today. Somebody from Arlington happened to be in the room. I shouldve known something was up because my baby comes home and points to random spots in the ground telling imaginary bugs to go away. We are just trying to get through summer.
I DON'T THINK the center management is to blame per se. I think corporate kindercare gave us crap and the previous parents put up with it
No- it IS center management. Ask the parents in the 4 year old class, many have been with the center for 4+ years and they will tell you how much this place has gone downhill since last summer when the old director left. Kindercare Corporate sucks to be sure, but the old director would stand up for the center and its teachers and actually made this a really nice place (even if the center building was a dump). The new director is awful to the parents and awful to the staff, and doesn't ever leave her office to even get to know the kids. So many of the good teachers have left and the ones that get hired seem to be quitting within a few weeks and are not even trained.
