OP -- you shouldn't be questioning your breakfast if it is just cereal and an apple. You're not doing anything wrong there. Maybe your lunch portions are more than they should be or something?
Cereal and an apple is carbs, carbs, carbs and no protein or fat. That most certainly is "wrong," especially for someone trying to lose weight.
