Oh my god, hate to be pretentious here, but Pimmit Hills is Falls Church, crazy Pimmit Hills lady. Like, the other side of the tracks. Sorry to be so blunt. Sorry, really, but please stop posting here. Thanks.

There is a marshall hater that seems to disguise and fabricate anything positive towards places besides Madison or mclean as crazy. A mclean resident mentioned pimmit hills because the entire neighborhood hassidewalks vs many parts of McLean that doesn't. As someone who petitioned to get sidewalks installed years a go the biggest barrier to having sidewalks installed are funding and neighbors not willing to give up their front yard.easement
So much unnecessary drama. If you want to send your kids to Marshall, you can live in less expensive areas than Chesterbrook. You may even get sidewalks if you buy in Pimmit Hills. Pimmit Hills and Chesterbrook appeal to very different tastes.
I think it is more very different pocketbooks than very different tastes.
We would rather have a new home in a very good school district than an old tiny home in the marginally better "best " school. In the future I think that ph will get more expensive after the tysons development. Prices already have jumped 20% yoy on teardowns as the tysons metro and development was officially started, so to an extent it is happening.

Actually my kids are zoned for McLean and I attended a different school in Fairfax/Annandale.
