Same here! Except sub Chili's for Applebees. LOL. I also literally laughed out loud at the "Do you know who Jimmie Johnson is?" question. (I answered yes.)

24, although I probably should have been a bit higher. I wasn't sure what to say about the "primary breadwinner" where my dad qualified as an engineer but my parents split up and I lived with my mom (a secretary) starting in 6th grade. I also used an online inflation adjustment calculator to figure out that my first couple of years out of college didn't qualify as poverty even though I was only making $18K.

46. I grew up in a small Midwestern town, and my husband served in the military. I imagine my child's score as an adult might be vastly different. I definitely fall in the "first-generation upper middle class with middle class parents," as does my husband.
It is a culture shock living in NoVa sometimes. Parts I love about it, but sometimes it feels too polished and fussy to me and I want to go back to the Midwest. Yet, if we could afford certain houses which are just out of reach....it would be like living a dream to me.
This really hit a nerve.

14... 3rd/4th gen upper middle class in this country. I grew up in a very "bubble-y" neighborhood.
